2. Power generation increasing

After installing optimizers, the total power generation of this PV plant increasedl2.79% in three days (from 2017-7-19 to 2017-7-21).

3. Mathematical model and analysis

The IV curve of PV module means each voltage value has its unique corresponding current value. And the smaller voltage value corresponds bigger current value. Each IV curve has one peak without shading, that's the Max Power Point (MPP). But more peaks would be found on the curve when there were shadings on the module, and the module connections in serial and in parallel would increase the peaks on the curve. But none of the peaks on the curve is the real MPP of the PV systems.

After the installation of optimizers, each module should work at its own MPP, and optimizers would send daily operation data to the server in Internet. Then we can analysis the data and calculate the system daily power generation, find out the power increasing ratio between arrays with and without optimizers.
